These terms describe use of Motive at freeicon.dev, a free tool for finding, customizing and downloading animated SVG icons. They explain the website’s operation and your responsibilities; each icon’s artwork license is described separately below.
Using the service
You can browse and export icons without creating an account or making a purchase. Editor settings are stored in your browser; the site does not provide an account or a cloud backup of your edits. Keep your own copies of exported files and shared links.
Artwork and licenses
Motive’s original icon shapes, animation presets and generated SVG outputs are offered under CC0 1.0. You may copy, modify and redistribute them in personal or commercial projects without required attribution. Source notices in exports are informational. CC0 does not grant trademark, publicity or third-party rights. Any separately identified external collection keeps its stated license, and software dependencies keep their own licenses.
Your exports and integration
You are responsible for testing exported files in your target browsers and applications. SVG animation behavior can differ by embedding method. Choose accessible labels, respect reduced-motion preferences and ensure your use does not infringe others’ rights. The tool does not promise that every export fits every purpose.
Responsible use
Do not attack the site, bypass its security measures, overload it with disruptive requests or use it for unlawful activity. These service rules do not restrict copying or redistribution of CC0 artwork. Access to the website may be limited to address abuse or protect service availability.
Advertising and external links
The site may display Google AdSense advertising and link to external services. Advertisements are not endorsements. External providers apply their own terms and privacy policies; any transactions with them are separate from this icon tool. Read our privacy policy for advertising and data-processing information.
Availability and responsibility
The site and artwork are provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output or suitability for a particular purpose. Features may change or become unavailable. Any limitation of responsibility applies only as permitted by applicable law and does not remove rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. Changes to website terms do not revoke the CC0 rights already granted for original artwork. Check this page for the current service terms.
